Refund policy
Return Policy:
- Within 14 days, if you are not satisfied with your purchase you can either refund or exchange the item or receive store credit. The item must have tags still attached and not have been worn, washed or damaged in any way or we will not accept the return. All Items bought on sale will be eligible for exchange only.
- Returns made after 14 days up to 30 days may receive store credit.
- No returns after 30 days.
- For out of town exchanges the buyer will be responsible for the cost of the return shipping and any new shipping costs.
- Once the purchase is picked up by the delivery company Island Surf Company is no longer responsible for the delivery.
- You may also exchange your item in person at our store located at 3464 Brittain Blvd, Qualicum Beach, BC, V9K1W2
- No refunds on surfboards, paddle boards, sale items or wetsuits that have been worn.
- All sales outside of Canada are final.
- Sale items are Final Sale but may be exchanged for a different size.
- No Rental Refunds.
Shop Policy: Price Adjustments for Recent Purchases
At Island Surf Company, we strive to provide our customers with the best value and shopping experience. To ensure fairness, we’ve established the following policy regarding sales and promotions that occur shortly after a purchase:

Eligibility for Price Adjustments
If an item you purchased goes on sale within 14 calendar days of your original purchase date, you may be eligible for a price adjustment. This applies to items purchased at full price or during a promotion, provided the new sale price is lower than what you originally paid. You will receive a gift card for the Sale difference. -
How to Request a Price Adjustment
- To request a price adjustment, please contact us within the 14-day window.
- Provide your original receipt or proof of purchase (order number, email confirmation, etc.).
- Requests can be made in-store, via email, or through our customer service team at 250-594-5452.

In-Store Credit for the Difference
- Approved price adjustments will be issued as in-store credit for the difference between the original purchase price and the sale price.
- In-store credit can be used on future purchases and does not expire.

Exclusions
- Price adjustments are not applicable to clearance items, final sale items, or items purchased with a coupon or discount code.
- Flash sales, limited-time promotions, and special events (e.g., Turkey 10, 12 Days of Christmas, Garage Sale in May) are excluded from this policy.
- Items purchased during a sale are not eligible for further adjustments if the price is reduced again.

- This policy applies only to purchases made directly through Island Surf Company and does not extend to third-party retailers.
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue this policy at any time without prior notice.
